Queering is a bold display typeface inspired by protest posters and queer publications updated for the modern age. The name Queering comes from the activity of ‘Queering a Space’ — transgressing what are seen as fixed categories — such as gender and sexuality.
Queering is variable, and contains six weights ranging from Regular to Heavy Expanded, with Latin Extended-A support, as well as a vast library of unicode glyphs that scale with each weight. Queering free and open source, covered under the SIL v1.1 Open Font License with donations benefiting the Ali Forney Center.
